When preparing lunch boxes for my teenage twins – sometimes I lack ideas.

What I do – Simply open the cupboard and the fridge and let my imagination fly.

One thing I really don’t approve of is food waist – so here you will find many ways on how to reuse the food you already have, or to make something delicious with only few simple ingredients.

One very important thing – being a mum doesn’t imply that you should eat only leftovers. Making nice meal for yourself, and taking a 10 minutes break to sit and eat it is very important for your health. Eating in movement is very bad for digestion, so be sure to make time to peacefully eat your meals.

My life commitment is to be moderate in everything. A balanced meal for me is to take a bit from everything. Why count calories, carbohydrates, proteins… I like to think the way our grannies did. They didn’t know anything about them, they didn’t have nutrition specification on the labels of products and they still managed to feed their kids well.  

Why waste money by paying lunches from school canteens? Do you think kids like them and eat them? You can make much healthier meals for your kids, for less money and no waste at all. Result: everybody’s happy.
